Hello everyone!
This just might be my last sweetheart diary and it absolutely breaks my heart. It does not seem like it has been a year since I stood on that stage and accepted my crown. Although I will be able to pass my crown off to the 2020-2021 FCA Sweetheart, I am sad to say it will not be at our annual convention this year. Many of my articles tell about my adventures as sweetheart as I travel around the state, or I get to share new recipes with you. However, I am going to do something a little different with this one. I want to take the time to thank each and every one of you. The sweetheart committee, Mrs. Kim, Kaydan, Kaitlyn, and Mrs. Lindsey thank you to all the hours you have invested into this program and for letting me have this experience. To my family, I know I spent many hours traveling and away from home but thank you for supporting me through this journey. Oh, and for feeding animals while I was away! The Florida Cattlemen ad Cattlewomen members, thank you for attending my events, inviting me to yours, and helping me out throughout the year. Many of you have offered me rides, places to stay, have fed and taken care of me and I am just truly grateful for you! My president, Mr. P1 himself, thank you for always having my back and making my year the best it could be. I am so happy I got to serve as your sweetheart. My FCW Presidents, Mrs. Debbie and Mrs. Casie, thank you for making this year fun and always making sure we looked good! All of you have certainly kept me busy, this past year my F150 and I have traveled over 4000 miles, going from Tallahassee to Okeechobee and every place in-between. I am so grateful that I has this opportunity to grow as a person and show my love for this industry that we live in.
Thank you for the memories.
Your 2019-2020
FCA Sweetheart,
Casey Wingate
