Hi everyone! Is it just me, or did October fly by faster than it should have?
I have spent most of this month in the kitchen, perfecting some of my favorite beef recipes! One of my favorite recipes that I made this month was a crockpot chuck roast! I love this recipe because it is inexpensive, super easy to cook, and there isn’t much work to go into it. I put all the ingredients together in the crockpot in the morning, and by the time I got home from work and school, I had a delicious meal that I could enjoy for the week. I highly recommend this recipe for busy families down to active college students. At the end of this article, I will include a few recipes you can try out this month.
I know last month I mentioned the CALS Shoebox Homecoming Parade! It aired on the CALS Facebook page on October 8, and I have attached the link right here! https://www.facebook.com/UFCALS/videos/190923109834720 The FCA Float can be found at 6:57! This was a great way to promote the Florida Cattlemen’s Association throughout the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.Towards the end of this month, I judged the Myakka City Fall Festival Whip Popping Contest. People of all ages brought their whips and competed in the contest. A huge thank you to Mr. Culley Rowell for hosting this event.
Lastly, November is filling up fast between holiday festivities and everything else. I would love to come and attend some of YOUR county events this month. Feel free to send me a text, email, or phone call to schedule an event with me.
