Disaster Relief

The Florida Cattlemen’s Association continues work with State Governmental officials to set forth a number of emergency declarations, exemptions, waivers etc. pertaining to the movement of livestock.

In the event of a significant impact on the Florida cattle industry. Folks needing assistance or planning on donating/coming to help please call our office at 407-846-6221. We keep accurate notes with name, location, and type of need so we can get to as many people as possible without sending fence or chainsaw teams to those that have already been assisted.

A message from FCA President Dale Carlton

Fellow Cattlemen in the path of “Helene”, as we prepare for the storm, I know your vigilance for and stewardship of, the land and animals we care for will see us through the challenges ahead. In the event of major impacts to our industry the Florida Cattlemen’s Association and many of our members across the state stand ready to help in relief and recovery efforts. Ranchers helping ranchers, is the quickest way back to normalcy after such an event. Bear down, stay safe, we’ll get through this together.
